far away friendship

Contributed by eternityandaday4u on Sunday, 7th December 2003 @ 02:50:00 AM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

At the park we dwell wondering and reminising all the hurt memories that are forever engraved on my heart.
why you left and never said a word we'll never know. you look our way and never smile. why things turned out all this way. that is not for me to say.
these scars you've left behind will always be there hidden underneath the skin that has grew over them. i see your face in a dream and it is a blur. why this happens i am not so sure.
the walls that you've so painstalkingly built around your soul will break and through your own ignorance you will look around and see the pain you cause so many people.
your facade is fading into the darkness and slowly you will see through tears the friends that you've lost to the open wind.
i love you so much and yet you still don't see the pain you are causing me. one day i won't take this any more. one day i will grow stronger to your face. one day i won't hurt no more.
look into the mirror and tell me do you see you or the mask that you have put together so you can fool the world.
why are you so mad at the world. you live this life of opportunity and priveledge and you are deprived. yet you deprive me of a friendship i so long for. in the midst of all your hate i still love you.
if you forget every thing i have ever said remember one thing is true
i will always remember you!

Shows much wisdom in your pain.
This reminds me of my ex.....He couldn't deal with real luv as he's use to bying what he wants.
It's really sad to be with someone that's scarred of luv.....it takes it's toll that's for sure.
In those five years we were together I never stopped luving him but realized if I didn't get away from his torured mind that eventually I'd loose mine. That's one thing, (my mind) that I'd never give up willingly.
It's really good that u r writng as your vise to survive.
In my eyes I can see this as a book that would help millions that go thru these thoughts, feelings and the pain of it all.
Keep up the great writing!
ppeace, joy, luv, healing,
emy
Hang tuff as this too shall soon pass!

Interesting...
'why are you so mad at the world. you live this life of opportunity and priveledge and you are deprived'
If this was meant how it sounded then well heh. I walked away from someone repeatedly... I kept going back to them because it hurt them so. It was hard to feel love in any real way. It still is so I kinda shy away from people when they ask for a specific type of love... I know better right now. Don't worry about it just become stronger because of your pain.
