Oh but why must we say goodbye? And how I wish this was all just a lie, without you here by my side, I feel as if I might as well die.
I think to myself, that maybe this is as low as it’ll ever get, and all the good and bad times while I sit.
I wonder if you feel the same, do you wonder if I felt the same?
Do you know I love you? Now this is your cew to say you love me too.
Why must things end this way? Pain and sarow have overcome me while I lay here all through out the day.
Your never coming back you say. So your really gone does this mean I must move on?
I breathe every breath hoping you wont really leave,
I think every thought wishing this is only a kink.
But it’s not all a lie so I guess I’ll just say goodbye.

| Ahhh....unrequited love...that's the rub...a bitter pill taken perhaps too many times in the history of humanity. For the title.....how about.."Goodbye"...I know it is simplistic but that is the message that I get from your poem...or "I'll Just Say Goodbye" ...I think those two could be considered...oh well just a thought on a sleepless night. |

superfluous love
beyond sensibility
love in a mist {which is an herbal buttercup flower}
