Clouds moving fast,
From another day,
Running from the pain.
Clouds from the past,
Bring souvenirs from far away,
In the form of rain.
Clouds synthesizing,
Merely parts of a larger whole,
Uniting and dividing.
Clouds are rising,
Above the mists of the soul,
Slowly subsiding.
Clouds fall asleep,
Drifting unconscious free,
Descending deeper.
Clouds like thoughts seep,
Through the cracks, quickly flee,
From the sleeper.

wow.... this is such a beautiful, asbstract picture of dreams.... I really like it. The rhyming isn't too "storybook/Dr. Seuss" type rhyming, you know what I'm saying? It's great. I really enjoyed reading this.
God bless,

I loved the wording of this poem. I loved how it works together as well. |
