Why why why
the connudrum forms a impregnable trellis
as the faulty record is whirring into dysfunction
tarnished and
lapsing into repeat mode
Or could it be the record player that is broken
unable to withstand the brunt of
an unreliable dust smothered record purchased
at the ninety-cent thrift store
in all its authencity
but not surprisingly of inferior quality ?
Then why why why the recurring segment
so brief so concise
so svelte as it forms a loop
creeping deftly
grazes into the slumberous mind
grating familiarity .
Twillight shines upon our aloof trellis
climbing , scaling and swamping our walls .
And we are swathed with these fabrics of
self prescribed security.
One dosage is an affirmitive tranquilizer.
