What am I to do,
Now that I cannot have you?
You are the only thing that I desire,
For in my heart you lit a most engulfing fire,
Can you not see?
That when you are with me,
There are stars in my eyes,
You take away all the pain and lies,
I have never wanted to hurt you,
But now I do,
So that you can feel the pain I have felt,
From what to me you have delt,
Why did telling you: you are the one,
Make you run?
I though I could tell you anything; I guess not,
All my life true love I have sought,
And I found it with you,
This is so true,
You have now reaffirmed what I
have always felt,
From all the years of pain I have been delt,
I now feel as I did before I met you,
Good times have been oh so few,
My life changed because of you; I was finally happy when you came,
Was all of this some sort of game?
To win my heart and throw it away,
And never give me the time of day?
Now that you have left; my life is as it was
before,
Sad, desperate; hopeless and nothing more,
I never thought I could love this much,
For my heart you did so gently touch,
But now all I feel is pain,
And everytime you come back again,
I know I will heave a heavy sigh,
And not sleep because I will cry,
You could have had me ,
Completely,
My life is once again something I have to endure,
And when I die,
At least once I will have felt a love that was pure,
And my dear, that is no lie.

Wow I can just picture this - "For in my heart you lit a most engulfing fire" - words descibe your pain perfectly. I have been there, I can understand this write and I truly hope that you will be okay and all the best for you. Take care.

So bitter...... reading this poem almost bring tears to my eyes... for I had went through something like that as well.... sad.... very sad.......... |
