Entering Death

Sitting there still,
Thinking about death,
Wondering if I want to,
Take another breath.
I tell you how I feel,
To die is what I dream,
The silence is shattering,
My body dead in a stream.
I start to say,
That I can no longer live,
I hate the world so,
I just hope you can forgive.
I can feel your love,
Flowing through my life,
Your friendship keeps me alive,
And keeps me out of strife.
I start thinking about,
How much easier it would be,
To end the hate and misery,
To bring death to me.
I try hard to fight,
But no longer can I stay,
As I enter my death bed,
Where eternity I will lay.
