Beam Me Up Scotty

Topic: HumorPoetry

Hey look at me I'm happy, could this be a dream
Or maybe it's because Im getting done up on Jim Beam
Just a couple of glasses, while I sit and write some words
I HAVE TO KEEP THE WRITING BIG,'CAUSE EVERYTHING IS BLURRED
(hiccup) Pardon please excuse me,how could I be so rude
Oops Oh my,I've just realised,I'm writing in the nude

Now I know I came in dressed,I remember very well
When I was shakin' off my faded blues,on my butt I fell
But I swear I put my jammies on,cute lil ones with teddy bears
Im positive,'cause jammies,I dont usually wear
But I had decided to call for pizza, some takeout for a change
And didnt want to answer the door, all nuded out and strange
Well I guess it doesnt matter,'cause its near the end of my night
And so I sit here writing, eating pizza, feeling outta sight

One more shot of bourbon and I'll be feeling fine
I really don't know how,I'm managing this rhyme
Here tonight,Im not alone,and I don't have to dream
'Cause I've got my pizza,my music, and good ol' Mr Beam
But wait a sec,I just thought, just now realised
That somewhere theres a pizza dude, who's had a huge surprise

LMAO!! This is in
NO way real!!..Just me being a lunatic *wink*
Although...I DID
have a bourbon..a small one *smiles* (hic)
