A Man's Plead

Contributed by misstressdistrubed on Thursday, 4th December 2003 @ 05:59:43 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

It was a cold and rainy September day
There were no children out to play
As I walked I thought unthinkable thoughts
For at my home I knew I’d find what I sought
I turned in to the walkway that lead to our house
The one where so many fights were about
I knew when I arrived I would not be welcomed
But for her I came even if it was me she no longer loved
I tried to woo her in with thoughts of a life that would never end
I tried to show her my attentions were not from sin
But she refused to listen and believe my words were true
She disbelieved that I had forgotten the nights when others I had pursed
She only made things worse
When from her mouth my name she did curse
Into anger I violently arose
Tearing and pulling at her lovely clothes
I knew not what had become of me
And for her life she began to plead
Who was this man I has become
Form where did all this hatred come
Before long I had become some one else
No longer in control of my self
I did not know what I had done
For the only thing I loved I had ruined
I did it not out of spite or fear
But out of the thought of a life without her that,I just could not bare
So to see her go now with no other
Would please me more than to see her with any another
So this is my story of love that went array
And she shall not live another day
So for my life I get down on my knees
And to you I so shamefully plead
