Trying to forget

Contributed by Xplicitplaygirl on Thursday, 4th December 2003 @ 12:13:53 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Trying to forget his name
Forget his face, Forget his embrace
Forget his touch, Forget his lust
Forget the love I once knew and thought was true and remember he's with someone new.
Forget the nights we talked on the phone for hours.
Forget the tears he made disappear.
Forget when they play our song.
Forget I cried all night long.
Forget thinking he's the one for me.
Forget how close we once were and remember he's with whore face now.
Forget the fact he only lives down the road.
Forget he's the one who got me down and made me frown.
Forget all the hugs and kisses.
Forget how he held me tight, just right!
And remember he's faded away, and he's with Jessica tonight.
= The hardest thing.

this looks ALOT like a poem my friend Dwon wrote about 6 years ago. Hmmm I wonder if she ever posted it on the internet, she did that with some of hers. Theres even a few lines in it that are exactly the same.

hers went kinda like this
forget his name
forget his face
forget his kiss
His warm embrace
forget the fact he was your whole world
remember now your not his girl.
forget him when they play your song
forget the nights you cried all night long
forget how close you once were
remember now he's with her
so forget the lies,
forget the fear
but most of all forget the tears
forget the way you once were
Remember now he's gone to her.
NOt exactly the way it went. It was much longer, but I guess you may see the similarities huh? Maybe I'll have her look at yours and she can post hers here to THE REAL VERSION. I seem to recall she did have that poem printed in a book through poetry .com
