The discordant scream again will rise
As I bring clawed fingers to my eyes
Never healing and never at peace
Never to experience release
Self-inflicted are scars that run deep
Memories I forever will keep
Beyond tangible pain always burns
Never healing it always returns
Internal struggle, locked in stalemate
I need the other to break free
Open up your eyes and see
The pain that I bring unto thee
The transposition of agony
Open up your heart so true
Let me give my scars to you
Your inner skin will make me new
I need a transfusion before life ceases
Can't you see that i'm in pieces
Trust in me and let it begin
I'll give you scars to fill mine in
The first incision burns the most
Without your pain mine has no end
Open up your eyes and see
The pain that I bring unto thee
The transposition of agony
Open up your heart so true
Let me give my scars to you
Your inner skin will make me new

BRAVO! BRAVO! Vs.....I understood every word. How marvelously written, you took lots of time on this one to visualize and to view...
I was very touched with this VS....and I know you must have been too!
The agony, the remorsefulness, the hopelessness of ever being the same...even with a new transplant...they can't replace what once was new!
I sensed the fulitity in this poem...and no one can sense it unless they too have been there
to experience the pain...deep down inside somewhere?
Wonderful
