Twinkles

Contributed by Cobalt on Wednesday, 3rd December 2003 @ 11:50:03 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

The twinkle of his eye.
One of his two.
His main reason for living his life
for striving
to be a better man
than should ever be
possible for him to be.
His reason to be good.
A reason for love.

The twinkle of her eye.
One of her two.
Loving them so dearly.
For attempting
like all mommies to be
better tahn all other mommies.
Holding them tightly
to protect them from storms.
Giving all she has
just to love them
as tightly as she holds them.

Twinklings in their eyes.
Looking upon little ones
with smiles in their faces,
tears in their eyes,
and love in their hearts.

Love, hope, and best wishes.

My best friend just lost his 2 kids in a car accident today, so needless to say, this poem said a lot, and ment a lot. Thanks!

I am five months pregnant, with a little girl, and I have a 6 year old girl and a 2 year old boy and this is just darling! I think I'll copy it, bearing your name of course, if it's ok with you and stick it in their baby books! Such a precious write!
Thanks for sharing!

Oh Jeff....this poem is twinkling right down to their toes...such loving and such kindness no one ever knows until a little heart is placed next to yours....the beating starts with much love and never ends for all your years!
How lovely, and sweet!
They should feel blessed with this Jeff.
It's reallly neat!
