This is Your Story

( And if you never have a love before your life is done
You shall be loved by one
If you are feeling sad and lonely
Read this poem for he loves not only
Everyone he also loves you
And those who know this seem so few)

Wandering
Hoping to find my way
Searching
Not knowing whether it is night or day

Down in the heart of the Earth
The heat is growing
Ancient secrets lie here since before mans birth
I keep on going

I have to find my way
But why am I here?
My courage cannot stay
I feel only fear

Where will this lead me?
Why am I here?
My own hands even I cannot see
This strengthens my fear

Suddenly, there is a pulsing, rhythmic beat
It overtakes me
I feel an intense heat
Then suddenly I see

A Gate keeper
he turns to face me
" Have you come to see the Seeker?"
He asks of me

Familiar looks this gate keeper
I reply, " I know nothing, I've lost my memory;
Who is the Seeker?"
And with that the gate keeper shakes his head at me

He opens a door for me to pass through
"You must find the Seeker
I will give you one clue;
You will know who it is when you see her" says the gate keeper

I walk inside, the pulsing beat is so near
All is black
I no longer have fear
For there is a candle upon a rack

A room full of mirrors encloses around me
Who was the gate keeper?
I hear his voice inside my head telling me "The girl you now see...
is the Seeker".

But what am I looking for?
All is blank in my mind
This leaves me wanting to know more
What will I come to find?

Then suddenly I see a door
With no hinges or a handle
I wonder what it is there for
Then out goes the candle

The pulsing rhythm was forgotten but now is here
What can it be?
It is so near
My eyes can see

The door cracking
It bursts apart
As the pieces are falling
I see an immense heart

As I walk closer a figure appears
All the walls disappear

He is the oldest man I have ever seen
He looks at me and I hear his great voice
" A lot of things should not have been
Ahead of you, you have a great choice"

I say " I do not understand"
" My child", says he
" Many eons I have had to withstand,
To make you see"

"Who are you?" I ask
" You will know soon, but first I must say
That you need to perform a great task
My child as you go on your journeys way

You must know this one thing only
That with my love for you
You will never be lonely
And the answer is not who

But what I am, have been and always shall be
You yourself have descibed me as "Gentler than a spring breeze underneath the wings of a dove"
You are nothing without me
For no one can match my love

So My child, do not be sad or feel forsaken
Because since long before your birth
Your heart has been taken
By one who far exceeds in giving you what you call mirth

My child, I am that one
I have had your heart
Since long before you were created and I will still even long after this life of yours is done
The past you must now thwart."

My mind could not grasp what he was telling me
"My child, the answer is within you"
The pulsing of my brain made me queasy
" The answer is not surprizing or new"

" The answer is simple and easy"
"I beg of you" I cried
"Please tell me!"
My tongue felt tied

I fell to my knees
He said " I am the one you worship and adore...
" Tell me PLEASE!"
" I am the one you call GOD, yet I am so much more"......
