Red light, green light
Which will it be?
Turn left, turn right
What will I see?
He’s decided what he wants
And I’m not included
My soul, he does haunt
And my heart has he wounded
I no longer want to wonder
What the future may hold
On insanity’s border
My heart must remain cold
Will I be able to avoid
Viewing life with contempt?
Can I forget about filling the void?
I suppose I should make the attempt
This goal, I may not be able to reach
Though my life it would simplify
I must allow my past to teach
And end my desire to always comply

Sometimes when you are rushing, you can't see what you are looking for. Sometimes what you are looking for is not what's best for you. Sometimes you assume the worst and it's better than you expected. Sometimes if you are not sure what to do, you should do nothing. Sometimes if you compromise yourself, you lose everything. I'm sorry things worked out the way they did and I'm sorry you doubted my feelings for you.
