Of Angels and Demons

Contributed by P0rNStAr on Tuesday, 2nd December 2003 @ 05:22:59 AM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

A lonely demon wandering the plane of chaos and death saw a glow emerging from a place beyond where he was...
He was curious and went to find the source of the glow that had disturbed him so oddly...
He went through many trials and many temptresses on his way to find the source of this heavenly glow...
When he got to the edge of the light he saw it came from a beautiful angel his first instinct was to corrupt her...
But as he studied her he realized he could never soil the purity of the angel before him for a feeling he had never know took hold of him...
He was scared by this thing that ruled his thoughts making him think of the angel night and day for he knew not what it was...
He just knew he had to meet her so he went back and presented himself to her...
But rather than fear him as most she showed him what true beauty was and brought him into her light...
the light from her heavely voice and beauty began draining the evil from him and he was starting to truly understand the feeling that he had...
It was love and he knew that this angel was the only one that could ever make him feel this way...
They kept meeting on a friendly basis but he wanted and yearend for more...
One day he summoned all his courage and told the angel he loved her she smiled and whispered the same to him....
The angel and demon gave up their heritage and cast away their power falling to earth to be together...
But the were reborn as mortals destined to never be happy till the find each other...
Finally they meet not knowing their past but finding themselves drawn to each other though a force neither knew...
So now we are together my lovely angel and I thank the stars and heaves for allowing me to find you and complete my life...
I swear to be yours forever and never leave you even after my last breath leaves this body knowing we will be born again...
Destined to find each other again in every life for now our souls are forever twined together...

The End

I love it! I just said it out loud when I finished reading, I don't normally do that.
Dude, great poem. I love the thought, the idea. Well done.
Take care.
David
