Weekend with your love

Contributed by TheVarsh on Tuesday, 2nd December 2003 @ 01:53:07 AM in AEST
Topic: happypoetry

Buzz buzz buzz
the alarm you forgot
to reset
its saturday and
she's there next to you
you touch her gently
and she awakens
a quick kiss a brief hug
and you roll out of bed for the day

Sizzle sizzle sizzle
breakfast cooks for her
she smiles as
you pour her coffee
you eat in silence
just enjoying the
blessed silence of love
you could do this all day
but your both still in pajamas

Creak creak creak
the swing says as
you and she lounge
just lying in the sun
holding each other tight
just wasting time
do you have work
maybe
do you care
no

Chirp chirp chirp
the crickets sing
laying in the bed
you were in that
very morning
you two settle down
and snuggle up close
this is what I hope for you
everyday of your life

This does make you feel happy! Makes you think of anything happy and all the darkness fades away.
