I am the lost man
You are the mystical mushroom
Craving from hunger
Should i risk earing the mushroom?
You could poison me and death may occur,
Or you could rid me of hunger for days to come,
Or should i just ignore the hunger and walk on by?

Hmmm.... strange but thoughtful comparison. I like it. It's unusual. Very interesting to think about. True, some people just "walk on by" as you say..... don't want to take that risk....
Great write ; )
God bless,

I can see this poem as someone contemplating giving into temptation, with the mystical mushroom being the temptation. You may be hungry for it, but are you really ready for what may come after?
Good write! |

Nice, the comparison is great. I love the way it shows the temptations to give into your cravings or desires. |
