I'll Always love you

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

The first kiss you made
Brought me closer to
You,
The first smile kept me sane,
Your dreaming eyes kept me
From the darkness and took away
My pain.
You took my hand and showed
Me the stars,
And gave me your feelings
From your heart
Then you showed me the meaning to love
And I never looked back
On my fears,
But I drowned my sorrows
You felt my eyes age in your years,
Then under the sun our skin touched,
Feeling your caress,
And took away those
Thoughts of loneliness of mine into your arms,
I felt loved.
And your heart melted into mine
I remember these days
Before you went away,
Looking back on these good times
I had you always.
I knew somehow would we last
I thought I lost you that d ay
I took your love and kept it in my heart,
And believed you always loved me ,deep inside your heart.
8 months gone and a miracle is near
Your love made a new flower
In my eyes I saw her face,
Eyes, beautiful dreamer,
She was a picture of you.
When you where gone I thought I’d
Lost you forever,
Then one day you came back to me
And our love was drawn together.
Now I look back on those times and believed
That our love will never fade
Cause in our hearts a miracle was made,
From the love you gave me I felt I was going to break down in tears
Cause I knew our love was never to fade.

If I had the ability to cry I would. My girl left me a little ways back after 8 months. She still loves me more than anythng, but relationship is not an easy thing for her. I can see she is hurting, and in the process I am being torn apart. She will not accept help. I can only hope she will accept my offer of unconditional friendship and someday turn around, and accept my love again.

Your comment before the poem struck deep too. For a while she told me that she wasn't interested in pursuing a relationship with me, and I thought she had stopped loving me. But just yesterday she admitted she still did, and she couldn't be with me cuz she didn't want to end up hurting me.
I knew what she was dealing with; I have had relationship problems before, and I know how to get out of them now, after learning hard way. But she needs to find out herself, and all I could do is tell her that I would never turn my back on her, and never leave her, and if she just wants a friend at the moment, then I'll be the best damn friend she's ever had.

i'm sorry for being so long-winded, but your poem hit me where it hurts most right now...

Hugs,
C+
