My Childhood

Topic:
Nostalgic
|
Humid day
running home
taste of ripeness
fresh fruit.
Shiny sun
tan my arms
and legs,
See my mum
shiny smile
run up tarmac
into Heathers house.
Colours of paint
multi ethnic society
culture tones,
we'd sing and dance
I was happy.
Take a bath
tired and clean,
lay in bed,
where I'd dream.
