Nothing will ever be the same.
You left me here,
Alone and blue.
As those words came out of your mouth,
I felt my heart,
My dreams,
My life,
My happiness...
All get ripped out.
It felt as though you had walked all over them and spit.
I hate it.
I hate knowing you're not all mine.
Although,
I did realize,
That for quite a while I was crushing our relationship.
And I know that if I saw it coming,
I could've saved it.
I could've saved our frienship,
Our love.
I love you so much.
I wish that I had the guts,
To just tell you that I miss you,
I love you.
I want you back.
I will always love you.
No matter what,
There will always be a place in my heart,
Filled with our love,
Our memories,
Our friendship.
I want you so bad,
It hurts.
And since I missed that chance,
That chance to save our love,
I'm changing now,
To better myself.
Soon enough,
I will be that new person.
And when that day,
That day shall come,
Maybe you'll see how much you miss me.
Maybe you'll realize what you're missing out on.
Maybe you'll see what's right in front of you.
And maybe,
Just maybe,
You'll take me back.
And we'll be again.
We'll start out,
Fresh and new.
We'll start out knowing all this jive about one another,
Already in love,
And knowing what mistakes to avoid.
And what will build a stronger relationship.
One thing I don't understand,
However,
Is why we couldn't work through it.
If you loved me,
As much as you claimed,
Why couldn't we work it out?
Maybe love just isn't enough.
But,
If this is the better way to deal,
From your eyes,
Well then,
It will do for me.
I'm doing this good,
All thanks to you, my darling.
You opend a door for me.
A door with a new kind of happiness behind.
You showed me a kind of love,
That I would never imagined.
I'm so happy,
So happy we happened.
You are my dream come true,
Always will be.
I love you.

| so truthful and from the heart..maybe you should just go ahead and tell him/her how you feel, and make yourself feel better? but i know thats so much easier said than done...but then again what is there to lose? anyway good luck and well done xxx |

| Hey guys, thanks a lot for telling me what you think about my poem. It really helps me a lot. And I think that I *am* going to talk to him, and tell him that I still have the feelings I once did. He was my first love, ya know? I will always love him. Thanks again. I've got more to come. |

| That's a wonderful poem! I could feel your emotions, cuz i've felt heartache before, not too long ago also when my bf broke up wit me. I understand too that the heartache will go on for some time, but try and move on. You can express your feelings to the person, but if he doesn't like you anymore, you may find someone else.. not right away, but someday you may. Thank you for posting this! Good luck. Jenny |
