Topic: Lifepoems

Its another day
Another day in the sun
And yet the cloud still passes
Passes over me
Like it did the time before
And the time before that
I wish that only the sun
Would keep me here
Here awake and free from the cloud

Every now and again
The cloud breaks
And rain falls
Every droplet releases and emotion
An emotion that is part of me
The cloud releases the emotions for me
As I stand in the rain I realise that
This way is better
And the anger falls to the ground

And as I sit here now
The sun’s rays pass above me
And I know that it will be some time
Till I see that cloud pass over me
Because everything is free of tension
There is no longer a cloud above me
And no release of rain because
Everything has been fine since I found you
