FRUSTRATION

Contributed by AliB on Sunday, 30th November 2003 @ 12:20:26 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

It makes you feel so helpless
You don't know where to turn
Frustration comes so naturally
It's not something that you learn
Banging your head against a brick wall
Feeling useless, wondering who to call
Trying to get your point across
Understanding their views
But feeling at a loss
You say one thing
They do the other
Telling them to respect their family
Especially their Mother
But what do you know?
Like, you've never been through it
You've never had problems
And thought stuff it or screw it
You've never found hardship
Wondering what to do
Or fell out with friends that just didn't like you
But you DID come through it
Grew up wanted more
Than arguments and fall outs
And you do know the score
So if you work hard
Get your head down and study
It can be so simple, doesn't have to be bloody
You could turn things around
Knuckle down, be polite
And breeze through your teenage years
You know that I'm right!

great venting... isnt it funny, when kids are little we are always right, then a few years of questions we have to stop, sit back, and think of honest truthful helpful answers to and they are accepted... then one day there is this teenage beast we live with and we wonder where did our little sweetie go!!?? then they eventually get more human and come back for advice and hugs, viscious things lol..great write:) hugs n' love nessa
