Good luck little ones,
The world's seen your plight,
We'll all work together,
One day you'll see light.
You'll learn to be loved,
To be cuddled and kissed,
You'll catch up on happiness,
And the love that you've missed
You'll understand freedom,
And learn how to play,
You'll see the outside,
And know night time from day.
You were never forgotten,
We didn't know you were there,
But Jesus was watching,
You were under his care.
Your faith will have gone now,
It can be restored,
Look to us, your saviours,
Your future's assured.
So trust, little ones,
Help is here at long last,
With time you'll forget,
Your terrible past.

oh wow, this is beautiful. not only because of what it is on it's own... but i know my sister will have stories soon about this. she wants to be a missionary to the poor and starving kids in romania, so reading this is a joy for me... because one day i know she will be seeing them too; neither will she ever forget it. i love this. kudos ;0) -daniel |

this poem conflicts with my own beliefs. for one thing i doubt they can ever forget such a terrible childhood. can a child forget getting abused? no, they are scarred the rest of their life if they chose so to be or make something of their childhood. and why would jesus just watch the misery people go through when its not their fault in the first place? |
