Knowing 2 but loving one
afraid to give in completely
fearing their actions and yours
this is your choice
Living 2 lives
as a friend and as a lover
having to balance them both
this is your choice
Understanding is what draws you to him
he knows what you’ve been through
he’s felt your pain a million times before
this is why you chose him
Love is what draws you to the other
a feeling you can’t describe
kisses that stay long after
this is why you chose him
This is why you chose them
as friend and as mate
so don’t choose one or the other
just accept it as your fate
