When did I start to go away?
My skies once a bright blue
Now fading to a dull grey.
Where did that sparkle in my eye go?
Once I was filled with promise
Now, well now, I just don't know.
How did life pass me by?
Once I had direction now I wander aimlessly
A long time ago I stopped asking why.
What made my heart so cold?
Once I had love for one and all
Now all that's there is a hatred burning strong and bold.
Who was ever really there?
Once I had a loving family and friends
Now that I'm falling apart no one cares.
Why did I go away?
Once I had an answer
Now I just don't know what to say.

This is very beautiful and so touching, Suzy.. The reader could feel the pain and hurt in this poem. I can even relate to it a bit.
