STARGAZING

Share with me the moon so high above in the sky
sitting there amongst the many speckled diamonds dancing around the moon so bright.
Help me reach the stars with welcoming eye's
to gaze upon their magnificent display and answer my many why's.
Let me see what you see when you search the sky
for the many galaxie's and nebula's, I want to see, I want to try.
Guide my eye's like a blindman's cane, towards the heavenly wonders
while explaining to me Saturn's ring and the many moons of Jupiter.
You my friend, with your head always in the clouds
show me , for my eye's and mind seeks what you so enjoy without a doubt.

Awesome poem! I am an astronomer at heart, and this really answers why we odd people tend to spend nights freezing out in the fields to catch a rare glimpse of nature's beautiful wonders. Thank you for writing such a beautiful poem!!
