Our love

Contributed by Nikkia on Friday, 28th November 2003 @ 09:34:14 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I love how you say you love me with the beat of your heart and the sound of your soft voice

They say if you love something let it go if it comes back it was meant to be if not it never was

Well i've done taht and now i'm waiting

Time will take its course and we will be together forever with our house and family as you've always planned

We've been through rough rocky times to get a relationship and we still are but i know with love as strong as ours we'll make it through and have that house and family

Age is just numbers and having 4 years between us is nothing, we'll make it till death do us part

You say you love me and want a future with me but why are you still hanging around with Lacy

Very nice poem, but watch out, you can tell what person likes or doesn't like by watching his actions....he must like to be with her..or he wouldn't be with her!
Don't get your heart hurt! please.

I am only 26 but I have lived a long, hard 26 years, which is the only reason I feel right to say these things to you. I agree that age is but a number - except when you are a 16 year old girl. We think we know everything about love and living life at this age and really we are just beginning to feel feelings that are way over our heads. BUT our heads are so swollen as teenagers in love that we are only willing to hear one side of the story - OUR SIDE.
There are a million boys on this Earth and a million girls and God makes it so we are to give ourselves, eventually to just one. My foster Dad told me something when I was 16 and dating and it has stuck with me all this time - if the goal in the end is to spend your life with a man - find one with qualities you'd respect in a husband. Financial security, honesty, respect for himself and others and you.
Finally, in my opinion, this man can't afford to pay for the responsibilities he already has, such as $46 for child support - How's he gonna take care of you baby girl? And at your age why should you have to adopt his problems on top of the problems that automatically plague you just because of this period of your life.
You are so right - if it's meant to be it'll bee - but you can't force it and I think you ought to take some time out from this troublesome relationship and enjoy the good aspects of being 16 and dating boys your own age.
Take care of you!
juliette
