Where Am I Hiding?
November 24, 2003

As to where I stand, I am uncertain, and to what I see.
I wonder, what will become of me.
I know my lines but forget my cue,
As to where I stand, I am uncertain, and to what I see.
I want a chance to prove it true,
Unsolved, I am, in what to do.
As to where I stand, I am uncertain, and to what I see.
I wonder, what will become of me.

Maybe,
Hidden from me,
I could finally see,
What I should do to find myself,
To retrieve what I lost and be happy.

My contagious belief, I understand.
Through whispered relief, I say my words.
I feel my blood pass through my heart,
My contagious belief, I understand.
I touch upon what I’ve torn apart.
I cry a salute to those who start.
My contagious belief, I understand.
Through whispered relief, I say my words.

I do not know who I am.
Can’t I try to be,
Simply, me?

this is an interesting poem passionate yet anhedonic
