Shattered Dreams

Contributed by stalkee on Thursday, 27th November 2003 @ 05:00:07 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

No one can possibly know,
how it feels to feel this much anger,
like I do,
'cause of what I didn't do

No one can know what it's like,
to roll around all night,
being haunted like I do,
by what I never said

And my dreams,
they are as shattered,
as all my hopes seem to be
I spend hours,
just trying to see,
why it's my silence,
that always kills me

No one can feel this frustration,
that I do,
'cause I thought I had something in my hands,
only to have it fall straight through

No one can know what it's like,
to be like me and sitting in their room,
just crying to the moon,
for this burning regret to go away

actually pretty much everyone knows what its like to have that happen. everyone has their own story about something that they once had or could have had. we just all live through it... its the ones that can get back on their feet and be happy that will make something out of their life.

very good. I understand how you feel it usually helps me to know other people have felt what I'm feeling. It makes me feel less lonely. I have a poem kinda similiar. It has the same meaning behind it anyway. Its called in dreams. Its here, so if you get a chance check it out hopefully it will give you some comfort.
