Forget Me Not

Contributed by SkYYBLu on Thursday, 27th November 2003 @ 02:56:03 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I'm trying to forget
The words you said to me
Thy words, so little, but meant so much
Did thine meaneth something to thee?

When you hugged me, kissed me...
When you told me that you loved me...
Was it all only a lie?
Was it all simply disguised malice?
To entice me?
To hurt me?
To make me fall in love with thee?

I'm trying to forget
Your impassionate way of speech
Your wisom beyond measure
Your deception beyond reach

Why are you so content
With the way you treated me?
Why must you go on living
Without worry
Why do you refuse to hear my plea!!

These words you'll never hear
You'll never try to listen
But your picture engraven in my head
Your eyes...
Never cease to glisten
With the hope of a second chance
And the whispers of my name
Why won't this cause you shame?!

Your insight about me is false
Get to know me sometime soon
Give me another chace
Who knows?
Maybe I'll surprise you
