the hired wails of the mourners turn real
as the whips lash their backs.
the sound echoes off marble walls and marble hearts.
they scream shrilly
as they are entered from behind.
the men laugh and beat them feircly.
and enter them the same.

this is an EXCELLENT poem, im used to this kinda stuff and it hit me HARD, you gotta tell me what this is about....pleeeeeease.
the imagery you used is awesome

the way you worded this gives it extra impact. |
