The rain tears

Contributed by M on Wednesday, 26th November 2003 @ 11:22:22 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Pouring my soul out through my mind,
Walking, no direction, just following the signs.
I wrote them myself, positioned them myself.
And i know where they end up.

Cuts and burns and pride and hate,
My recipe, my map to death.
This self-destruction path i'm on,
I can not stop, i will not rest.

Walking the deserted frozen streets,
All alone, there's no one to meet.
It's not that they hate me,
It's just that i hate myself.

All alone, but the streets are suddenly full.
Am i still in the place i was before?
These people have always been there,
We just don't notice eachother anymore.

The sky begins to cry,
Beautiful raindrop tears fill my eyes.
And slowly, second by second i continue to die,
And my sky turns black, and their sun begins to shine.

Words cannot express how awesome this was... You say I have talent, but everything I write pales in comparison to this. This was brilliant. The last stanza wow... I can't say enough.
