A Dead Iraqi can't Celebrate

Contributed by bobotheclown on Tuesday, 25th November 2003 @ 09:01:16 PM in AEST
Topic: political

*"The Iraqi people are re-claiming their own streets, their own country and their own future."* - Bush

Yes, they are re-claiming
What YOU stole
Killing soldiers (Bush's pawns)
The sacrificial blood debt
For their dead child,
For their dead mother,
And for their paralyzed son
Their re-claiming their future
From their new enemy
Which is YOU Bush!
Will you use your own WMD's?
Which you accused Iraq of having
Oh, great hypocrite?

Remember that Iraqis might've welcomed you,
But they can't when their dead
When their six year-old daughter is dying
From one dumb marine
"I thought her rattle was a grenade."
What bull we've had enough Bush
Of your lame, pathetic excuses
We're gonna rise up and tear you down!
When you take one of us down
Thirty more will take his place
You can't silence us!
And remember
A dead Iraqi can't celebrate

I agree, like i said in your previous anti-bush poem, this message is so true. I hate that there are so many people with these anti-bush thoughts, but none of us are being heard. When will the idiots that run our countries finally learn that there is more to life than wars?
Another great write, Joel, you should be proud of such a talent.
Love and hope,
EmilyxXx

Very well said Joel. It is too easy to swallow the propagandists line as they try to make us all celebrate death. Bush is trying SO hard to turn a SKULL into a SMILE so that he can get re-elected (or elected once as he didn't truly get elected last time!). The man is an ugly dangerous liar - to even hope for a decent world for our children and their children we need this arrogant ignorant and very dangerous man GONE.
