Our Heavenly Father, we thank You for all you have done for us, as the giver of life, love, and all happiness. We realize that what awaits us is much greater than anything in our pasts.
We thank you for our loved ones, parents, children, friends, and all whose lives you have placed in our paths for your own purpose and ours. We thank You for our sufferings which teach us reliance upon You for our strength and needs. We thank You for our great Salvation which You purchased for us on the cross. We thank You for all our many blessings and provisions, the meeting of all our needs and for the opportunity to share Your love with others for Eternity’s sake.
We realize we often get so busy with our daily lives that we seem to forget to give You thanks as we should. Too many times we come to You as a last resort instead of leaving our burdens where they belong, at Your feet. You have taught us that “we have not because we ask not.” And You have commanded us to “pray without ceasing.” In other words, we should never give up.
With that in mind then may we commit today to always (everyday) pray for Your leading as we do right now, for your healing of our infirmities, for health and strength to serve You, and for the salvation and guiding of our children, friends and loved ones, and for all our needs and theirs to be met in a mighty way. And we pray for their happiness and ours. Let us not give up in our weariness, but draw always of the strength you mete out to each of us in Your long line of love. Let us bring cheer, joy, and encouragement to those who need it most as well as a desire to know the hope that lives within all Your children. Please give us Your “Peace that passeth all understanding,” in a way that will help to heal all broken hearts by passing it on.
We thank you in advance for hearing and answering our prayers Lord as you have promised to all who ask with a sincere heart, Knowing that if we believe it, we shall receive it! In the Name Of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, we ask these things today and always. Amen!
