trust these lines
to reveal
my passion
and the explosions
i experienced
when we first met
and the anger
when you walked off
----------------------------------
i got your letter
on my birthday
i found out
you didn't wait for me
you moved on
as expected
---------------------------------
in the silence
of passing cars
and my own watch
ticking away
i could almost touch
ecstasy
but my arms
were never long enough
