Thankful
I have a lot to be thankful,
This holiday season.
Let me take a few seconds,
To tell you the reason.
God has blessed me,
With so very much.
Great health, Wonderful family,
Loving home and such.
Unfortunately I don’t always that the time,
To thank him for his deeds.
Yet he seems to always,
Meet my every need.
Selfishly I return little,
In return for his grace.
If it was called on the table,
I turn my face in disgrace.
Sadly it takes a holiday,
To realize my shortcoming.
Hopefully next year,
I hit the ground running.
