Talk

Contributed by saddarkgirlreingsthenight on Sunday, 23rd November 2003 @ 09:39:32 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

something everyone takes for granted. something we do a lot. sometimes we need to talk to a certain person, when no one else is around.
but then, you can't talk. time passes. hours slip by. you should be talking but you can't. your parents are here. there parents don't let them talk late.

so the next best thing.

writing. it's what keeps people alive. people like me. you write to express feelings, emotions, and.....that.... something inside.

it's away to escape. escape the hell and pain. where no one tells you what to do . why you shouldn't and yell at you. it's just you and your pencil.

wriitng is keeping me alive. i write to sacrifice the talking.

i begin to shake as the pain medication kicks in. no, I'm not killing myself. it's only ibprofin and i only took 7 (i think) or it may be 8. it's just to make the pain go way for tonite.

because without the pills, i'd be rather worse. i can't sleep without them. and i can't stay awake either.

this fight is getting harder. i don't want to try. everyone is finding out.

Quote - "I write to sacrifice the talking" - interesting! Aren't you scared of getting descensatised to the pills? And maybe it is good that everyone is finding out...well good that a few might find out cause then they can help you and you don't have to try on your own anymore. Interesting peice too...no rhyming...a different style...very good...take care.

Emma.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
