refusing to correct

Topic: HumorPoetry

you comment and qeustion my poetry
shaking your heads
telling me of your precious spell checks
but im about to explaine somthing
so give me a few minutes stop with the steriotypical views
and all i want you to do is listen
and dont forget
i admit i use big words i fail to spell
read any of my writes and i can except you risk getting lost in the sea of my errors
but you know what i happen to be glad
because for the simple reason that is just me
i cant spell
know this yess you all do by now
except this you refuse
i can only ever spell words like they sound to me
to explaine the feelings i feel what these miss spelt words mean to me
if i used a spell check
id be in denial
just lying to myself
why change these lovable faults
somtimes i type so quick i dont look back
because it just feels write
but dont those little mistakes help me to emphasise
dont they show how strongly i feel about the subject
dosent it just prove my belifes
how all these aparent mistakes make me feel
so no i will not regret
im refusing to correct
as long as you understand who i am
as long as you keep getting the point
i will never pretend or wish to be perfect
sacrafice my inderviduality
because these poems are my life
and how i write them is up to me
