Parting Dreams

Contributed by burdened on Saturday, 22nd November 2003 @ 05:33:02 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

She is tired of being broken,
Tired of her hope.
She no longer dreams...
No longer dreams in color...
Her chemerical moments that thrived her mind,
That told her to breathe,
That led her to a freedom beyond all comprehension.
She took a last breath,
It was her decision to throw away her dreams.
Jaded by a shadow in reality,
A red mark upon her face,
Brusies bound to her back,
And a river of pitty running from her wrist.
She threw her hoope away.
Cast her own soul to be crucified by her heart.
And her heart swelled,
Exploding with all the hate she knew.
For she did not know love,
Love in any form.
She knew a dream,
She cried for those dreams!
"Come back! Oh do come! I am not one with out ye, oh glorious moments which i keep!"
But she threw away her dreams,
And dreams do not come back.
She knew this too well,
So she mourned for the light!
The brilliant glimmers of color,
The feeling of a smile,
And, oh! how she longed for one last warm embrace!
The last and the first...
Yet, a nefarious movement broke her life,
A twisted ride,
With an unimaginable end.
Cold and shadows enveopled her body,
Her eyes tears,
Then glazed.
Her gaze frozen,
Her body limp;
Never had she looked so peaceful.
Never had she looked so happy.
Every dream had parted.
