They are my enemies

It really hurts, the things you do
I try to take it with some grace
But I really hate you, when I see their face
I told myself they’d never make me sad
But, I never thought it’d be you
The one who’d make me feel so bad
You know, I’ll really try
I promise, I won’t cry
Are you my friend?
Can I call you that?
Do you really like me?
‘Cause you treated me like a doormat
Why are people so mean?
I know what I say
I have really seen
The way they act, the way they are
Because of that
I hope in life, they don’t go far
I wish things were different
They didn’t work as they do
If things could change
If no one remembered, no one knew
The possibilities are endless
There could be no such thing as friendless
No one judging, who you are
You could sit, by yourself
With no one watching from afar
I hate the world, as it is
Popularity, says it all
Who you talk to
Who you call
This isn’t right,
You know it too
The grass is green,
The sky is blue,
These things are set,
But they are not true
I don’t always know
What I am saying
People are shallow
I completely realize
It makes me sick
To hear they’re lies
To hear them say
Those mean, mean things
To have them ask “does my hair look alright”
Every morning, every night
They are my enemies,
My best friends, my worst
The base of my worries
And all that comes first
I hate them, but love them,
No replacement be found,
No matter how hard you try
Everyone is like them
Anything else is a lie
The world I dream of,
So close, near by
But forever I’ll dream,
Because some things,
No matter how simple they seem,
Just can’t be accomplished,
The world is happy,
Corrupt as it is,
I guess I should adjust
To what is and will be
Because I now must,
Do what is the best for me

Welcome 6_2 this is the first poem of yours that I've been able to read, and it was what I call a "reasoning" poem...you were reasoning with yourself, and the best line was the last one...what a great conclusion to come to. We must all decide what is best for we ourselves! Whether it be propular or not.
We have to live with us, and no one else can tell us how to that except for ourselves.
I really like this poem alot. I read it over twice, you have lots of talent...and welcome again. you'll love it here!
