Art Of The Lonely

Contributed by Avarice_Riot on Friday, 21st November 2003 @ 07:32:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

The black path of a song
Curves and revolves
The abstract meaning always there
The flowers, like a maiden raped
have bid farewell to purity
A single petal stays
To tell the story.
Always his ghost stained the shadows
Like thorns imprinted on silk.
It is whispered in the wind
The unbidden theme of lonesome
Hated grief burning the grass
As hell hounds hunt my back
Tonight I paint the saddest dreams
The saddest dreams about him.

Oh Ave.....
why is it that you can always make me cry when ten reruns of city of angels can't? i know you think about him and miss him every moment, I do too...but keep strong and you will overcome this pain one day...i'm just so damn impressed that you can smile so genuinely in front us and yet show how you really feel in your writing. My window's always open sweetheart, ya know that.....i'm always here for you, my little imouto.

So easy to read and so easy to let a tear fall. Beautiful in a haunting way.

You my friend, have written one of the most captivating poems i have read in a long time. This is such a sad write, but with such vivid imagry, perfect in my mind. i love the lines " The flowers, like a maiden raped
have bid farewell to purity
A single petal stays
To tell the story."

Beautifully written,

Silent
