Thoughts run through my mind,
all the why’s and what’s,
stare into to the sky,
see all the little dots,
think about what might be,
what could have been,
what is right now,
and what really is sin,
think about the things i’ve seen,
the person in me,
what all has happened,
what I’d like to be,
there is some things,
I know for sure,
like God is great,
and cancer has no cure,
I know I love my mom,
my brother and dad,
my little neice and cousins,
my friends aren’t too bad,
I am close to God,
and really happy there,
my friends are too,
they seem to really care,
they have given me smiles,
a good look on life,
a fun night out,
fun without any strife,
I have not found,
the one for me,
I have found though,
girls it could be,
with them I know,
I could stay strong,
stay for ever happy,
I will be for so long,
as long as time allows,
and God permits,
I will love her,
and our kids,
I will show them this,
everyday of their lives,
hugs for my children,
kisses for my wife,
when I am gone,
I know people will cry,
I don’t ever want that,
I don’t want to die,
I want the joy of heaven,
and the freedom I’ll gain,
the love I will have,
and no more pain,
I want all this,
but not right now,
I got a life to live,
and all my know how,
all of my friends,
my family too,
I have my God,
but I don’t have you,
when that day comes,
I will be complete,
a moment in life,
no other can beat,
so don’t waste time,
show me your face,
speed up this love,
speed up the pace,
so we can forever live,
in each others eyes,
all of our time,
til our world dies,
I want your love,
I want that so,
don’t wait no more,
and please don’t say no.
