Lost, but Found

The rain pounds down upon the glass, threatening to break what I know to be true.
One day the sun will shine again and forever will see me through.
On my own, still clinging to sunsets and star-filled skies that will never let go.
Wonderful and terrible, never to be entrusted with another heart again if my hands are entertained within the twisted maze you lost me in.
It will never do.
I will never do.
Those lies were painted blue with sympathy for me.
Your words are more deserving of someone less weathered and worn.
Someone who doesn't know well enough to know anything at all.

Well Done! Very profound! I love the first line, and the last two lines are so sad.
Keep writing!
