HERE SHE COMES AND THERE SHE GOES!

Here she comes now walking toward me.
The prettiest girl in town.
Standing by her under the golden sun,
I must look like a clown.
Whether standing in the bluegrass,
Or water above our knees,
She looks like a beautiful flower.
I look more like seaweed.
I resemble an old wino.
She should be a queen.
If she’d sip on some white lightning,
Then maybe with her I’d be seen.
I’ll get to the heart of the matter.
I wish that I was a prince.
But since she saw what a frog I was,
I haven’t been seen near her since!
