A Clouds Rebirth

“A Cloud’s Rebirth”

Born into the sky,
From a cloud raised way up high.
She spends her whole life traveling,
No one sees her until she is showing,
And then most people hate her.
They watch her on T.V. and frown,
No one wants her to come down.
The very few who like to see,
Always welcome her with glee.
Every time she visits near,
People sneer.
They talk behind her back,
Wishing her enemy would attack.
They hope for sun and clear blue skies,
They pout and dodge her angry cries.
She hates that they hate her too,
When all she’s doing is trying to help you.
When she comes to show her face,
Everyone scatters and hides in their place.
Safe in their homes or under some roof,
People are finally rain-proof.
The rain is often frowned upon,
The droppings live their life afraid,
That people will always hide from the rain.
Born into the sky,
From a cloud raised way up high,
Sliding south through the clouds,
Rain makes its way into the crowds.
A sudden death that’s all around,
As a rain drop hits the ground.
A weather form that never truly dies,
For it is re-birthed,
Into the skies.
