Life Without Love

Contributed by stalkee on Wednesday, 19th November 2003 @ 08:05:09 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I've heard of many people being afraid to love,
afraid of rejection...I used to be there
But now I have made many realisations lately,
and I will share these with you now...

I used to always say that I'd be better off never to be in love,
there are many people who think this too
but really, think about this,

There would be no first love,
or that first girl,
or that crazy feeling

There would be no first words,
no first hug,
no first kiss

Nor would there be a first date,
no first dance,
no walks at night

No sweet dreams of anyone
no 'great struck by lightning' feelings,
and no 'talk til sunrise' conversations with someone

We all need love, or else we'll end up like a person who is too afraid to love so they never do live,
you're never alive til you love
