I'm not after your money, I have some of my own,
no need for fancy restaurants, just throw me a bone.
I bet with the last statement, your mind has wandered,
no need to be embarrassed, I'm not even bothered.
What I'm seeking is very simple you see,
a good loyal friend to spend moments with me.
I won't tie you down, unlees you like that sort of thing,
but seriously, someone who will respect me is what I am wishing.
I'm tired of being lonely, tired of feeling dead,
I just want to live and have fun with someone instead.
I choose you as that friend, I hope it's OK,
if you meet me halfway,
I promiss I won't run away.
You'll have in me a loyal, loving, understanding friend,
you have nothing to loose, but a friendship to gain.
So are you up for the challenge, I'm not asking for much,
let's share our lives and all that other stuff.
Let's grow old together....oops we are already there,
let me re-phrase that, let's grow much older together and rock in our chairs.
I hope you enjoyed this little poem, I wrote it just for you,
because I think your the best through and through.

This is such a cute write. It's so sweet. And it's very conversational-- it's like you're here in the room talking one on one. Very neat write =) And it's so innocent.... not dark, angry, or serious.... just fun and loving. A fine write.

| great write.....he's either shy or scared.....either way.....he cares.......it may not be the same.....but he cares.....otherewise he would have stayed seated.......oblivious to all.......just my thoughts........ |
