Broken Mirrors Reflect the Past

Your words flow through me like burning lava
Than that of fresh spring water

Open arms left my guard down
And left me a perfect target

My hate forshadows wisdom and broken mirrors reflect the past
But soon I won't have to wait

Soon I won't have to wait
For those memories to not hurt anymore

There will be no mistaking my state of mind at that time of my life
And what I've learned from it

Since you've been gone
I'm left with a big hole in my day

And for now I fill the void with bull*****
But one day with satisfaction

Whatever happened to you, I'm sure NOBODY deserves. And in the end, we all get what's coming to us, good or bad.

But look on the bright side, at least it gave you the inspiration to write this awesome poem!
