She was supposedly yours... as was I

Topic: AngryPoetry

Pushed out of your way
as you found another amusing
Never thought I'd see this day
Where you I'd be losing

You talked to her but a single time
And decided she was more than I
Decided you just wouldn't be mine
All we had you would simply deny

So unlike you this was
Didn't think I'd see this
Simply leaving because
I was easy to dismiss

Another swept me away
Saving me from falling
Though I still regretted that day
And you yourself I found appalling

With the friend I did stay
He knows I don't love him
But it was kept this way
Simply friends neatly trimmed

The one you found amusing
Found something better to do
You got a taste of your own abusing
For she found one better than you

You were left alone
Crying in your despair
To this I'd known you were prone
Couldn't have been changed by a prayer

You decide to get smart
Come tell me you love me
Proud of yourself you are
you think from your problems your freed

But forget it my dear
I don't play games this way
Once you were out of here
That was where you were to stay

Should have thought about it
Before you left my life
You won't have me, you selfish twit
You've put me through enough pain and strife.

Great job, a beautiful poem. I liked this a lot, especially the "the one you found amusing / found something better to do / you got a taste of your own abusing / for she found one better than you". And good for you--I know that must've been hard, what you did.
