A FINAL THOUGHT!

My darling you may whisper,
While I look into your eyes.
I’ll hold your hand within my own,
And I promise not to cry.

For I’m coming right behind you,
So that you and I,
Can be there with our open arms,
When our children reach the sky.

I with you will think fondly
Of the roads we’ve traveled down.
And on our faces will be smiles,
We’ll never more know a frown.

So take your last breath darling.
I will breathe it in as I say,
“Be looking for me angel,”
“For I’m joining you there today!”

For a day is as a thousand years and
a thousand years as a day, with the Lord!
