The Sun Sets on True Love

Contributed by irshprnss on Monday, 17th November 2003 @ 10:11:53 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

When the sun sets on true love
It rises on the memories
And when darkness so shall fall
Its then your true love will be
Alone with no where to run
You can"t feel or hear or see
Then maybe you will understand
Though not enough, I"m me

When the sun rises on lies
It sets on what can"t be
Left in only darkness
Your only light a memory
Grasping to all unknown
Holding to what you can"t see
Hoping that you understand
I am only me

In the middle of the day
Still will be the sun
Is it the end of nighttime
Or has it just begun
Should I fear what I can see
Or beg for darkness to come
Though unknown to most
To some
All I can be is me

Great write! Best person to be is yourself. Just remember the sun is rising elsewhere and shall rise again upon your face.
